Skyprism Icon was one of the first pieces I ever did on glazed ceramic tile. Years later people told me it was impossible to paint with watercolors and acrylics on glazed tile. It just "wasn't done". I'm glad I didn't know it "wasn't done", because over the years I have painted well over 2 dozen tiles, and they remain some of my best works. |
